Vol. 95 Emerging Scholar Award Recipient: Daniela Abratt

The Denver Law Review is pleased to announce Daniela Abratt as the Vol. 95 Emerging Scholar Award recipient! Daniela, as a law student, worked in academia as a research assistant and as a student attorney in low income and immigration clinics. Since law school, Daniela has worked in private practice representing plaintiffs in various civil litigation cases, one of which arose under the Civil Rights Act. In May, Daniela will begin serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. After her clerkship, she hopes to continue to work in the civil rights field and eventually hopes to enter academia.

Daniela Abratt's article, US Intervention in Syria: A Legal Responsibility to Protect?, will appear in Issue 1 of the Volume 95 publishing cycle. The Denver Law Review looks forward to working with Daniela to help her advance her legal and scholastic endeavors!

Vol. 94 Emerging Scholar Award Recipient: Adam Feldman

The Denver Law Review has selected Adam Feldman for the Emerging Scholar Award of Volume 94. Mr. Feldman is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Southern California and holds his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley. His work has been mentioned in the New York Times, Above the Law, Law 360, Legal Business, and many other forums. Mr. Feldman's article, Counting on Quality: The Effects of Merits Brief Quality on Supreme Court Decisions, was published in Issue 1, Volume 94 of the Denver Law Review

Vol. 93 Emerging Scholar Award Recipient: Kate Sablosky Elengold

The Denver Law Review has selected Kate Sablosky Elengold for the Emerging Scholar Award of Volume 93. Professor Elengold is a Practitioner-in-Residence at American University's Washington College of Law. She is a rising scholar in Civil Rights law and race and color scholarship. Professor Elengold's article, Branding Identity, will be published in Issue 1 of Volume 93.

Vol. 92 Emerging Scholar Award Recipient: Goldburn P. Maynard, Jr.

Goldburn P. Maynard, Jr. was selected for the Emerging Scholar Award of Volume 92. Professor Maynard is a rising scholar in tax law and trusts and estates. Professor Maynard's article, Addressing Wealth Disparities: Reimagining Wealth Taxation as a Tool for Building Wealth, was published in Issue 1 of Volume 92.
